David joined Stratascan in September 2003 as a Field Survey Team Leader travelling all across the UK gathering survey data at a wide variety of sites. Since this he progressed to Project Officer running projects on a day to day basis, analysing data and producing reports. In all he has authored over a hundred projects and has submitted a number of papers for poster presentation. He has gained a wide experience within the industry and currently occupies the role of Bid Manager with responsibility for advising customers on the most appropriate survey strategy for their particular application.
Through his work David has developed skills in numerous technical software packages and in particular has a keen interest in working with spreadsheets. David is an Associate of the Institute for Archaeologists (IfA), a member of the IfA Registered Organisation Committee, and GeoSIG.
David enjoys playing for Cheltenham Hockey Club and during the summer months can often be found cycling the commute from home to office. |
